How Can I Get Involved?

It's easy!  Just contact the DVCC:

by phone at (402) 398-9928,

by fax at (402) 398-0375,

via email at dvcc@dvccomaha.org

or through the mail at 8990 West Dodge Rd. Ste 205, Omaha, NE 68114

and tell us you're interested in participating in the "Meals to End Domestic Violence" fundraiser.

We'll get you a copy of our Agreement of Participation and you just sign it and send it back to us.  After that you just keep track of your profits on July 29th like you normally do.

The DVCC will provide volunteers at your location(s) to distribute information to customers regarding DV resources or, if you prefer, we'll just give you information that you can make available to customers.

Why Should I Help?

Domestic Violence is a pervasive problem throughout our society.  By participating in "Meals to End Domestic Violence" you will be supporting and affiliated with a significant cause and showing the community that you won't be Silent about Domestic Violence

Your business will receive publicity on flyers (click here to see last year's flyer), mailings, through media publicity, and right here on our website!

And last, but not least...any contribution you make is a tax write-off as a donation to a charitable organization!

Where Does the Money Go?

The proceeds from "Meals to End Domestic Violence" will go to help the DVCC train first responders such as law enforcement, fire and rescue, medical community and area employers.  They will also help us in our pursuit to build the best possible coordinated community response.  Funds help the DVCC continue with our Silent Witness and Court Watch program along with other projects that build public awareness around the issues of domestic violence.  Our newest project, the creation of a Family Justice Center, brings together multiple service organization under one roof to better serve victims of domestic violence.  Proceeds will also be used for public awareness and education about domestic violence and available resources.
