What is "Meals to End Domestic Violence"?

"Meals to End Domestic Violence" is a fundraising campaign for the DVCC.  This is a worth-while cause and a great cause-related marketing tool for area restaurants, as well as local businesses.  We are asking local restaurants to donate a minimum of 15% to 25% of the food and drink proceeds from lunch and/or dinner on July 24th, 2007 to the DVCC.  In addition, there will be a raffle drawing for those who give individual donations to the DVCC. 

Meals to End Domestic Violence is also an easy way for citizens of Omaha and the surrounding communities to get involved in helping stop the silence that surrounds domestic violence.  Simply by dining at one of our participating restaurants during lunch or dinner on July 24th you are helping to support the DVCC in its mission to "Pull domestic violence ‘Out of the Shadows,’ Unite the community against it and Stop the violence."
